In the "90 Minutes Info", the lawyer Paul Latouche looks back at the incidents that took place during the OL-OM match. He compares cel with the situation in England, where “when someone commits an act of violence in a soccer stadium, the penalties are extremely exemplary. I even remember some supporters who were not banned for life”, he asserted.
In the program "90 Minutes Info", lawyer Paul Latouche commented on the recent incidents that occurred during the match between Olympique Lyonnais (OL) and Olympique de Marseille (OM). Latouche highlighted the seriousness of the events, comparing the situation to that observed in England. He observed that, in the British context, the measures taken against violent behavior in stadiums are particularly strict, going as far as exemplary sanctions such as lifetime stadium bans for certain supporters.
Contrasting the reactivity in France with that of England, Latouche advocated for similar measures in France to deter violent behavior in stadiums. According to him, more rigorous sanctions and a zero tolerance policy could help ensure safety and respect in sporting events, by aligning French practices with the high standards observed internationally.
